  • Talk to him more often. He may have a short attention span, so keep calling him or give him attention so that he will know you are there and always present for him. Do some tummy time with him in your lap and play with him using multiple tones and games.
  • Your baby is capable of lying on his tummy and play now. Put him in his baby gym to discover objects and colors around him. He will exercise to lift his head and feet and practice turning over or crawling. You can also place toys and other objects in front of him, and he will try to grab them.
  • Do small exercises to ease up his body and let it grow quickly. Lift his arms and legs up and down and across to help him ease and move. Move his body up and down, which will excite him, moving his arms and legs speedily. Lay him on the floor and put toys at the front so that he will try to run and grab them.
  • Don’ts:  Do not place any sharp object around them as they will try to reach everything in their sight range.
  • Make sure you and your baby are wearing soft clothes so that it will not bother the child. Eventually, you will need to pick him up after every few minutes, so make sure your clothes and his clothes are soft and frizz-free.
  • Always stay object free around your infant. While doing your chores, make sure you leave any utensil away or high above your child’s reach.
  • Do not play forcefully with your infant. Stretching his arms and legs with pressure will damage their soft bones, disturbing his bone growth.
  • Never let your baby alone anywhere. Always stay on guard with your baby or keep him in sight range while doing your work.
  • Make sure the toys you pick for your baby are not choking hazards as babies’ first observation technique is always grabbing and putting in his mouth. Buy soft plushies and chewable toys for him that will help him with his teething time too.

Babies are meant to be loved and given affection at their every stage of life. No matter how much they grow, they remain babies for their mothers. Mothers should always love their babies at any stage of experience with the same affection and care as they did at a young age.
